Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Wed, 14 Oct 2015

Interviewed null -1
Two rounds - pretty basic Java OOP Principles and classes. Both were phone screens. Also had a phone call with the HR too talking about the basic recruiting process, pay, and other benefits. Was offered an offer at Boston office as a software developer intern. The work culture was good and the interview process was very easy and not that hard to crack if you are good with the basic coding principles.

Very straightforward - but a long time ago. I've been with the company for more than six years. This is not an unusual tenure - there are plenty of people who have been around awhile. They like it.

Average Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Thu, 15 Oct 2015

Interviewed null -1 in Wakefield, MA(took 60 days)
Had a phone screen and was then called in to interview in person with 3 members. I was being considered for 2 different positions which were closely related but Epsilon seemed focused on talking about the less senior role. I heard nothing from Epsilon for over a month when they contacted me again to come in and meet with 3 more people. I had to ask which role I was being considered for. Apparently after my first round of interviews, my background was reviewed with a larger group and they now wanted me to talk to a totally different group. It was very frustrating but I really enjoyed talking with the hiring manager and thought things went well. However, the hiring manager's supervisor had the final say and at the end of my interview, he threw out a brain teaser that he expected me to answer. I know that this is an interview tool to see how well you think on your feet, think outside the box, etc. but after 3 hours of interviewing, my brain was fried. I was told I could think about it and email him with an answer when my initial responses were incorrect. I did think of an answer on my way home but at that point, I wasn't that interested in the job enough to respond back. It's now been over a month since that second interview and the company hasn't even bothered to inform me that I'm no longer being considered. I find that really rude considering I invested 6 hours to onsite interviews with them.

Interview Questions
Watch out for brain teasers as it seems to be a company standard. I overheard an employee talking with the receptionist about the question he asked in an interview.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Mon, 9 Nov 2015

Interviewed Jan 2014 in Wakefield, MA(took 30 days)
The interview process is pretty straightforward. Usually, someone in Human Resources will reach out to you via email to set up a phone conversation. The phone conversation will usually consist of simply getting a feel for the prospect and their background and seeing how they would fit in at Epsilon. Next, the prospect will be asked to come in and interview with 3-5 different people, either for a specific client or for a general program. Everyone is very friendly which makes it less nerve racking.

Very Easy Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Tue, 17 Nov 2015

Interviewed Jun 2015(took 15 days)
Very relaxed and gave a good overview of what the role was. We spoke once on the phone about my background, I was then brought in for a face to face. That lasted about an hour and included a campus tour and a meeting with the team to see if I was a personality fit. That portion lasted about an hour. I waited about a week and then received the final offer.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, but I declined – Sat, 14 Nov 2015

Interviewed Nov 2015 in Irving, TX(took 30 days)
I applied through my college. The hiring recruiter was very sweet, and from there I received an on-campus interview. There was a Webex before the interview that fed you more information about the company. This was very handy in the interview. This interview was for 30 minutes with an employee who had been with the company for about two years. Very conversational. I found out about a week later that I had moved onto the next round which would take place 3 weeks from then. The recruiter was very kind through the process, and answered my emails promptly. The final rounds took place 3 days out of the week for two weeks. My friend had an interview with 4 other candidates the week before me. It was two candidates and myself through out the process. We met some people that were in the New Grad program, got a tour of the office, then got into place with 30 min interviews with 5 managers. The process was intense, but each manager was very kind and courteous. They focused behaviorally, to see if you would be a good fit for the company. One interview gave me situation questions which were intense, but was ready for whatever was being thrown at me. Overall, the experience was a very positive one. The recruiters said I would know if I got an offer in less than 2 weeks. As of right now, I do not know if I was hired.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – No – Sat, 21 Nov 2015

Interviewed Apr 2015 in Irving, TX(took 9 days)
I applied online, recruiter reached out to me. Spoke with the recruiter, two phone interviews, and one in-person panel interview with a presentation. Fairly straightforward questions first in panel style and then one-on-one with each member of the team. After the interview, I was shown around the office to see where conference rooms are located, the gym, cafeteria, etc. Very nice team and recruiters kept me up to date with decisions.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Mon, 23 Nov 2015

Interviewed Nov 2015 in Irving, TX(took 30 days)
The interview process was very thorough, and enjoyable. I met the recruiter at my college career fair. My resume was approved for the first round for an on-campus interview. Prior to the interview I took part of a Webex that explained into further detail what Epsilon was and the type of work they did. The on-campus interview took place the next day, and it was very laid back and conversational. I was contacted by a recruiter the following week for the second and final round, which would take place 2-3 weeks later. The final round was very intensive, but understandable how in-depth it was. Along with myself was 2 other candidates. We got a tour of the facility, then talked to employees that were in the New Grad Program right now. We then got split up into different rooms, and had the 5 interviewers rotate between us. The process overall took 2.5 hours. Everyone was very kind and courteous throughout the whole process. For anyone going through the process, do not be nervous if you do not have SQL or software background. They are more concerned if you are a good fit for the company.

Very Easy Interview – Overall Negative Experience – Yes, but I declined – Thu, 3 Dec 2015

Interviewed Nov 2015 in Bangalore(took 2 days)
Contacted by a consultancy, I clearly told them about my experience and salary expectations and they processed my profile. First round was telephonic technical discussion, second round was face to face technical discussion, third round was director/managerial round, all the rounds went really well and I was asked to submit documents before the HR round. After submitting the documents I was told that they can not give what I have asked for in fact they reduced it by almost 10% and asked me if I am ok they can release offer else they can't. I obviously said No, my concern is why have you asked someone to attend an interview knowing that person's salary expectations and after completing all rounds of interview you are saying you cannot give that much, do not waste anyone time like that. Let me tell you they were hardly offering a 30% hike on my current ctc.

Interview Questions
basic dot net framework, oops, asp.net, mvc, sql server. If you are aware of basics you'll clear the interview easily. There were no situational questions and you will not be asked to write anything on paper (code/design) etc. Very easy to crack an interview here.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Fri, 18 Dec 2015

Interviewed Sep 2015 in San Francisco, CA(took 49 days)
Completed several rounds of voice call and live interviews. It was not clear when the interviews would end. I met roughly 8 people on the team over the course of about 2 months. The process was mostly virtual (i.e. phone calls and video calls), They had a variety of team members participate in interviews and had each of them take a different approach. Some of the interviews were very formal and some were informal conversations with some main questions peppered in. The interview process started with an HR person. It also ended with an HR person, but there was very little in between contact with HR. Salary expectations were not asked of me, and at the end they guessed what I'd like to receive, which I found to be a bit odd. They don't negotiate many of their benefits, but it would appear that there are great benefits and a great team.

Very Easy Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Sat, 26 Dec 2015

Interviewed Nov 2015 in Wakefield, MA
good intro by the HR person, however, the rest of the team seemed uninterested and disengaged in the overall process. After the interviews were completed there was no followup even though the HR person promised to get back either directly or through the recruiter within three days. Seemed that the company is not organized well in terms of what they are really looking for.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Thu, 14 Jan 2016

Interviewed Jan 2016 in Irving, TX(took 105 days)
One word answer about the interview process...arduous. Applied online through a posting on Indeed.com. Got a call back the next day and interviewed with the internal recruiter who was very impressed and wanted to schedule another interview with one of the team members, which was setup for the following week. Met with the IT Director and we hit it off quite well as my skillset fit perfectly with the position requirements. He stated that HR would be contacting in a couple of days to setup further interviews. Later that day the HR called and wanted to fly me out for a face to face series of interviews which were scheduled for two weeks later. The day came and the winter tornado season kicked in and forced the cancellation of my flight to Dallas. We immediately rescheduled for the first week of November. Successfully got out there on the second attempt and met with the team (three separate interviews) and everything went well. I was told that I would hear back from HR in the next week or two on next steps. Two weeks turned to four and then to eight with me contacting my HR contact every week or so. Finally, nearly two months after my face to face interviews they contacted me again stating that the position had been moved under a different hiring manager and they wanted me to interview with one of the new team members and the hiring manager which happened right after the new year. Both interviews went well with the hiring manager requesting that I have one more interview with CISO and then they would let me know within 24 hours. Met with the CISO on a Friday and again everything seemed positive and as promised I heard back from HR on Monday that I had got the job. The entire process took an astonishing 15 weeks and 8 total interviews but so far I couldn't be happier!

Interview Questions
There is always a stumper question in every interview and I was prepared for most anything except..."what is the greatest technology to come out in the last five years?" Every stumper question I had been asked in the past was in the form of "How would/did you handle...?"

Easy Interview – Overall Positive Experience – No – Fri, 22 Jan 2016

Interviewed Nov 2015 in Wakefield, MA
Had an on campus interview, then was invited to their Wakefield office for a final interview. The on site interview was pretty straightforward; 5 current employees from different areas interviewed me for about twenty minutes each. Some asked me a lot of basic behavioral questions, some just talked at me about Epsilon, and they all allowed for a lot of my own questions. Everyone was extremely friendly.
